RENEWABLE ENERGY
Cogeneration systems are used in production which decreases our dependence on fossil fuels.
• Reduced dependence on fossil fuels leads to a reduction in air pollution.
• Cogeneration systems facilitate the recovery of thermal energy.
SUSTAINABILITY
All waste from production is transformed into fertilizers and peptides used in agriculture and zootechnics.
• The entire life cycle of the product is certified from the use of raw materials through production, use, and disposal.
• Waste is assigned to a company that transforms the sub-products into fertilizers and peptides.
WATER CONSERVATION + PURIFICATION
The production process adheres to strict water consumption standards and purifies all wastewater on site.
• 35% less water is used in our tanning process than the industry standard
• Wastewater goes through an on-site water purification system. This microorganism-based system completely degrades all water pollutants.
IMPROVED AIR QUALITY
Improves indoor air quality for a better, safer environment for you and your family.
• Rollers are used in the tanning process instead of spraying lines, which reduces the amount of chemicals and pollutants used in the manufacturing process.
CONSCIOUSLY PRODUCED
The tanning process adheres to strict guidelines, including limits on preservatives in the leather and a total exclusion of Chromium VI and Azo Dyes.
• Chromium VI must not be detectable in leather and is audited every 6 months to ensure compliance
• Total exclusion of carcinogenic substances, including Azo dyes and heavy metals in the leather
